Description

Lemongrass essential oil — is clean, energetic fragrance. Its bright, citrusy aroma not only refreshes the room but also naturally helps eliminate unpleasant odors. Thanks to its cleansing properties, it’s an indispensable ingredient in home routines — from natural cleaning products to laundry fresheners. Additionally, its scent is particularly disliked by mosquitoes, mites, moths, and other insects, making it perfect for the summer season. 

Due to its strong effect on the skin, lemongrass oil is rarely used in body care, but at home, it’s a true hero! Diffuse it during the day to freshen the air, create a cozy, invigorating atmosphere, or boost concentration. Avoid using it in the evening, as its energizing effect can interfere with relaxation before bedtime.
How to use?

Diffusing: 
Diffuse lemongrass essential oil in an electric diffuser. During the day, add 6–8 drops of essential oil to the diffuser; it is not recommended to diffuse this oil at night, as the intense aroma may disrupt peaceful sleep. 

Soap: 
Make a wonderfully scented soap! Add 20 drops of lemongrass essential oil to 200 ml of liquid unscented soap. Shake the container to mix the oil and soap together. Enjoy! 

Household: 
If you don’t have an essential oil diffuser, you can make a wonderfully scented room spray! Add 50 drops of lemongrass essential oil to a 100 ml dark glass bottle, fill it with water, screw on the sprayer, shake, and spray around the room as needed. 

Give your home an extra dose of cleanliness! Add 10 drops of lemongrass essential oil to a bucket of cold water, dampen a cloth with it, and use it to clean furniture surfaces and floors. 

Lemongrass oil is excellent at masking body odor and effectively repels mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects. Since the pure oil cannot be used directly on the skin, we recommend making an excellent mosquito repellent spray: Add 30 drops of lemongrass essential oil, 15 drops of tea tree oil, 20 drops of lavender essential oil, and 10 drops of radiata eucalyptus essential oil to a 50 ml dark glass bottle. Shake before use! Spray the mixture on clothes every couple of hours. In warm and windy weather, apply more often. Suitable for babies from 6 months and the whole family. 

Be sure to try the fantastic-scented natural fabric softener! Mix 50 ml of vinegar (9 %), 40 drops of lemongrass essential oil, and 1 litre of water. Use 50 ml of the mixture every time you wash. Pour the mixture into the softener compartment of the washing machine. This will be enough for 20 washes. The result will exceed expectations, we promise! 

If you use an electric clothes dryer, you can further scent your laundry with lemongrass. Add a few drops of essential oil to a special wool ball or a cotton pad, place it in a thin drawstring organza bag, and toss it into the dryer drum with wet laundry. 

To repel moths and other home pests, add lemongrass oil to cotton pads and place them in wardrobes, cabinets, and various corners of your home.
