Description

Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) is an evergreen plant native to the Mediterranean coast. Its name comes from the Latin Ros (dew) and marinus (sea), meaning “sea dew.” For centuries, rosemary has been treasured not only for its intense aroma but also for its symbolic meaning — protection, memory, and loyalty. 

In ancient Greece, students wore rosemary wreaths to support concentration and memory. During the Middle Ages, soldiers adorned themselves with rosemary for courage and protection. Sprigs of rosemary were even used to purify ritual spaces, believed to ward off negative energy. 

Nowadays, rosemary remains a beloved plant in both aromatherapy and personal care. Its essential oil has a strong, clean, and invigorating scent that awakens the senses and sharpens the mind. Often diffused in the morning or in workspaces, rosemary oil is ideal when focus and mental clarity are needed.

How to use?

Diffusion: 
Diffuse rosemary essential oil while working or studying intensively — it is said that rosemary’s aroma helps improve concentration! Rosemary essential oil pairs wonderfully with lemon essential oil, which also awakens and energizes. This blend is also great for long-distance drivers — add a few drops of rosemary and lemon essential oils to a car diffuser to stay alert and enjoy a fragrant journey!  

If you’d like to feel as though you’re in Provence, add 3 drops of rosemary essential oil and 5 drops of lavender essential oil to your diffuser. This is a traditional aromatic synergy that creates a bohemian, South of France atmosphere.  

Body care: 
We recommend preparing an aromatherapeutic body care blend: add 20 drops of rosemary essential oil and 20 drops of pink grapefruit essential oil to 50 ml of sweet almond oil. Massage the mixture into damp skin after a bath or shower. 

Hair care: 
Add a few drops of pure rosemary essential oil to your daily shampoo, conditioner, or hair mask — you’ll notice the effect after just one wash! Hair will become stronger and shinier. 

Home care: 
Would you like to bring extra cleanliness and a warm, cozy aroma to your home? Clean surfaces with a mixture of water and rosemary essential oil. Add 8–10 drops of rosemary oil to a bucket of water and wipe floors and other surfaces with a cloth dampened in this mixture.
